The Pixel 7 Pro features a triple rear camera system and the Pixel 6 features a dual rear camera system. Both models have a 50MP Octa PD Quad Bayer wide camera and a 12MP ultra-wide camera on the back. The third rear camera on the Pixel 7 Pro is a 48MP Quad Bayer PD telephoto. On the front, the Pixel 6 has an 8MP with an 84-degree field of view and the Pixel 7 Pro has a 10.8MP with a 92.8-degree field of view. The display on both phones is always-on with support for HDR, a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus cover glass.

The battery life expectations and features are similar on the Pixel 6 and the Pixel 7 Pro. The Pixel 6 is powered by a 4,614 mAh battery and the Pixel 7 Pro is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery. Google has said these batteries are capable of lasting beyond 24 hours. Both phones also have an Extreme Battery Saver mode, and support for fast wired charging, fast wireless charging, and Battery Share.
