iPhone Xs Max vs iPhone 12 Pro

The iPhone 12 Pro has a 6.1” display size, as compared to the 6.5” display size on the iPhone XS Max. The iPhone 12 Pro is also smaller and lighter than the iPhone XS Max. The iPhone 12 Pro has a more advanced camera as compared to the iPhone XS Max. The iPhone 12 Max rear camera array is a 12MP “Pro” camera system with a wide, ultra-wide, and telephoto lens. The iPhone XS Max has a dual 12MP rear camera with a wide and telephoto lens. The iPhone 12 Pro has several features not available on the iPhone XS Max, such as Night Mode, Night Mode Portraits, Deep Fusion, Apple ProRAW, and HDR video recording with Dolby Vision (up to 4K at 60fps).

The screen on the iPhone XS Max is larger than the screen on the iPhone 12 Pro, but the 12 Pro has a higher-quality display. Shared features include HDR, True Tone, and wide color (P3).

The iPhone XS Max has a 3,174 mAh battery capacity, and the iPhone 12 Pro has a 3,687 mAh battery capacity. These capacities allow for up to 15 hours of video playback time or up to 65 hours of audio playback time on the XS Max, and up to 17 hours of video playback time or up to 65 hours of audio playback time on the 12 Pro. Both of these phones are fast-charge capable and support Qi wireless charging. The iPhone 12 Pro also charges using Apple’s MagSafe charging system.
